What it adds to Brave

Shields, and a private connection

Shields decides what a page may load; KazaVPN hides which sites you visit from your network. Each does a different job.

Your address held back

Sites see an address from KazaVPN, and WebRTC cannot give away your own while you are connected.

Favourite places first

Keep the countries you use most at the top of the list and switch between them in a click, with KazaVPN Premium.

Add it to Brave

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store

While you are in Brave, open the Chrome Web Store and find KazaVPN there.

  2. Choose Add to Brave

Brave shows the store's button as Add to Brave. Confirm, and Brave keeps KazaVPN up to date.

  3. Pin the button, then sign in

From the extensions icon beside the address bar, pin KazaVPN, open it and sign in.

What you need

  • A recent version of Brave
  • Brave on Windows, a Mac or Linux, where it adds extensions straight from the Chrome Web Store.

Questions about KazaVPN in Brave

Do I still need Shields?

Keep them on. Shields decides what a page may load, and KazaVPN keeps your network from seeing where you go. Neither does the other's job.

Does it work in a private window with Tor?

No. Brave does not run extensions in its private windows with Tor, which send their traffic their own way.

Is Brave on my phone covered?

The extension is for Brave on a computer. On your phone, KazaVPN for Android or for iPhone covers Brave and every other app.

Which plan works in Brave?

Every plan, with the same privacy. KazaVPN Premium adds every location and full speed, and it is bought on kazavpn.com, never inside the browser.
