Subprocessors and international transfers

The short version

This page names every processor that reaches personal data on behalf of KazaVPN: a closed list, not an example of one. The privacy policy names each one by category too; this page adds where it processes and how a transfer outside the European Economic Area is protected. We announce adding, dropping or changing what a processor here does before the change takes effect, the same way the terms announce a change to them.

Every processor

  • Payment processing: handles a payment and a refund, and sees what a payment needs, such as your card details and whether your membership is active; it never receives your password or the rest of your account's data. Processes outside the European Economic Area, protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Hosting our database and the service it runs: holds everything the privacy policy lists, for as long as it lists it. Processes inside the European Union, so no transfer applies.
  • The content delivery network in front of our websites: delivers their pages and sees the requests for them, the way who else handles anything describes. Processes outside the European Economic Area, protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Delivering our email: sends the messages your account needs and sees your address and the message we sent you. Processes outside the European Economic Area, protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.
