KazaVPN for Opera
Browse in Opera on any network without the people who run it seeing which sites you open.
What it does in Opera
One browser, protected
The pages you open in Opera go through KazaVPN; the rest of your computer keeps its usual connection.
Calls that keep your address
Video calls in the browser use WebRTC, and while you are connected it cannot hand a site your real address.
Appear from another country
With KazaVPN Premium, choose the country and the city Opera appears from.
Add it to Opera
Let Opera use Chrome extensions
Open the Chrome Web Store in Opera. When Opera offers its Install Chrome Extensions add-on, choose Add to Opera.
Add KazaVPN
Find KazaVPN in the store, choose Add to Opera, and confirm Install if Opera asks once more.
Sign in from the toolbar
Open KazaVPN from the extensions button beside the address bar and sign in with your account.
What you need
- A recent version of Opera, added from the Chrome Web Store through Opera's own Install Chrome Extensions add-on
- Opera's Install Chrome Extensions add-on, which Opera offers the first time you open the Chrome Web Store.
Questions about KazaVPN in Opera
Opera has a VPN of its own. Can I use both?
Use one at a time. Turn Opera's own VPN off before you connect KazaVPN, so your browsing goes through the connection you chose.
Why does it come from the Chrome Web Store?
Opera runs extensions made for Chrome, and ours is published in the Chrome Web Store, which keeps it up to date in Opera as well.
Where is KazaVPN after I add it?
Behind the extensions button on the right of the address bar. Pin it there to keep it one click away.
Will pages load more slowly?
Pages travel a little further through any VPN, so a location far away can feel slower. With KazaVPN Premium you can pick one close to you.
