KazaVPN for Xbox

Your Xbox has no VPN app to install, so the router it connects to runs KazaVPN for it.

What it does for your Xbox

Kept from your provider

Your internet provider sees a connection to KazaVPN, not the games and apps your Xbox reaches.

Apps see the country you pick

On KazaVPN Premium the router appears in a country you choose, and so do the Xbox's streaming apps.

One setup for the whole room

The router covers the Xbox, the TV it plugs into and anything else on your home network in one go.

Set it up for your Xbox

  1. Create the file

Sign in on kazavpn.com, go to Router on your account page, name the router and download its file straight away.

  2. Add it on the router

In the router's settings, add a VPN profile or tunnel from the file, save it, and switch it on.

  3. Check on the Xbox

On the Xbox, open Settings, General, then Network settings, and choose Test network connection.

What you need

  • Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One
  • KazaVPN set up on your home router from your account page.
  • A network cable, or the router's Wi-Fi, for the Xbox.

Questions about KazaVPN on Xbox

Is there a KazaVPN app in the Xbox store?

No, and no company offers a VPN app for Xbox. Setting KazaVPN up on the router is how an Xbox gets it.

Does the Xbox take one of my devices?

No. Only the router is counted on your plan, so the Xbox and the rest of the house can join it freely.

Will Smart DNS work on Xbox?

Yes, once it arrives with KazaVPN Premium: you set it in the Xbox's network settings, and its streaming apps see another country. It does not encrypt, so for privacy the router stays the way.

What if my provider's router cannot import the file?

Plug a router of your own into the provider's one and set KazaVPN up on yours. Then connect the Xbox to your router, not the provider's.
