What we keep, and what we never write down

The short version is that there is very little, and the long version is a list you can read rather than a promise you have to believe.

What we keep

To run your account, we keep your email address, a password hash, registered device details, your plan, and a payment reference if you have one. Our no-logs page lists each record and how long we keep it.

While you are connected, we keep temporary connection information. Some may remain after you disconnect. See our no-logs page for what we keep and how long.

What we never write down

We do not record the sites you visit through KazaVPN, the domain names looked up through it, or how much data you move. The one exception is the Free plan: how much data a Free account uses in the current period is counted in memory only, so the free servers stay fair, and forgotten when the period ends. See the no-logs page for the account and connection information we do keep.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the account page. The Delete account page explains what is removed and which records may remain afterward.

Deleting removes its account, device, membership and mail records at once. Backups and a few records kept outside the account system, such as anything you wrote to us, can remain for a time; the deletion page explains them. Your account page can also download everything we hold about you in one file, on any plan, without deleting anything. The Your data page covers this and the other requests you can make.

Legal requests

We respond to valid legal requests. We can provide only records we still hold, which may include account details and temporary connection details.

We do not keep a record of the sites you visit or the domain names you look up through KazaVPN. Those browsing records do not exist to provide.
