When KazaVPN will not connect

Start with these checks. If they do not solve the problem, tell support what happened when you tried to connect.

Check these two things first

Check that your device is online, then try connecting again. If the first attempt fails, retry once before asking for another server.

If KazaVPN says your session has ended, sign in again. If no server is available, try again in a moment; on KazaVPN Premium or KazaVPN Family, try another country too.

When an update is required

If KazaVPN asks you to update, follow the instructions for your device, then try connecting again.

The download page shows the current Linux package and links to steps for checking it before installation.

Hotel, café and airport networks

Many public networks ask you to open a sign-in page and accept their terms before you can browse. If you connect KazaVPN first, that page may not load.

Join the Wi-Fi before connecting through KazaVPN. Open the network's sign-in page and complete its steps, then connect through KazaVPN. Some public networks ask you to sign in again later.

Stealth mode

Some networks block ordinary VPN connections. Stealth mode helps KazaVPN get through them.

On Linux, KazaVPN tries stealth mode by itself while connecting. If the connection still fails, contact support.

Ask for help

If these steps do not help, KazaVPN Premium and KazaVPN Family write to our team from the support page and hear back from a person. KazaVPN Free has the guides on this help centre, and anyone, on any plan, can report a security issue with or without an account.

When you write to us, describe what happened when you tried to connect, any error message, and the device you use. If your app offers a connection report, review it before sending it.
